The Story of Klatt Objects
Klatt Objects traces its roots back to a small workshop in Louisendorf, Germany, where Detlef Klatt's passion for design first took shape. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to preserving traditional techniques while embracing modern innovation, Klatt set out to create a brand that would redefine the boundaries of craftsmanship. 
Every Klatt collection is designed by Detlef himself, his unparalleled understanding of how to seamlessly meld Northern European, Japanese and Philippine design traditions shaping each object and collection. In addition to the underlying rich tradition in each object, you'll notice his respect for nature in the carefully sourced materials he uses; fine bone china, unusual woods, mother-of-pearl and alternative materials ranging from jetsam to plant fibers, to name a few.
